My first posting with the RCMP was at Surrey Detachment where I spent the next ten years. I worked General Duty , Detective Division, Drug Section, Organized Crime and Homicide Task Force. In 2000 I was successfully trained as an undercover Operator. In this capacity I have made in excess of a 100 street level buys of a variety of drugs up to the multi ounce level of cocaine. I have also worked undercover on a variety of homicide cases and I have done cell plants in Jails throughout B.C. and the Yukon. I am also an expert in surveillance and I have logged countless hours in this capacity.
I was transferred to Chetwynd Detachment in Northern B.C in 2003 where I was promoted to an Supervisory position. On my transfer to Chetwynd, I went undercover for 3 months and made over 50 purchases of drugs in the communities of Chetwynd, Tumbler Ridge, Dawson Creek, Fort St. John and Fort Nelson. In 2006 I transferred to Kelowna Detachment where I worked General Duty and Detective Division, investigating bank robberies, homicides, sex assaults, break and enters and a variety of other complex investigations
This extensive tenure in Law Enforcement has given me the experience and tools to be able to think "outside of the box" to find creative solutions to complex problems.
